田园时光美食--炸素丸子

      Fried veggie balls 

胡萝卜细丝 70-80克约1杯(Carrot 70-80 g  about 1 cup)

紫菜 3-5克(Seaweed 3-5 g)

中等硬度豆腐 100-120克 (Tofu 100-120 g)

烤熟白芝麻 1汤匙(Toasted white sesame seeds 1 tbsp)

羽衣甘蓝 少量约10克(Kale 10 g)

面包粉 3汤匙(bread crumbs 3 tbsp)

酱油1/2茶匙(Soy sauce 1/2 teaspoon)

盐1/5茶匙(Salt 1/5 teaspoon)

白胡椒粉1/2茶匙(White pepper 1/2 teaspoon)

 

 

1、首先把胡萝卜擦成很细的丝。

2、放入豆腐 你可以选中等硬度或更硬一些的豆腐。

3、把紫菜撕碎以后放入。

4、放入切细的羽衣甘蓝。

5、放入烤熟的白芝麻(用石臼磨碎)

6、放入面包粉。

7、盐    、   酱油、    白胡椒粉

8、用手把所有材料揉匀,搓成丸子。

9、小汤锅烧热 放油。油温烧至160-170摄氏度,放入丸子炸。

10、开始的时候不要急着翻动丸子,先把火转到中偏小火。

11、当油锅里的丸子 轻轻一碰就能离开锅底时 再开始翻动,直到炸到金黄酥脆 即可出锅。

My parents just moved in to their new place and they absolutely love their new kitchen. So on this episode, they will be sharing their first recipe with the new set up. Fried veggie balls, super flavourful & nutritious, you don't even realize it's completely vegetarian. 

First shreds the carrots into thin strips

Add in the tofu, medium to hard would be both okay 

Tear in some seaweed 

Chop up some kale pieces 

Add in some toasted and grinded white sesame seeds 

Add in the bread crumbs 

Season with salt, soy sauce and white pepper 

Mix all the ingredients together and shape into balls 

Heat a small pot of oil, heat until the oil is 160-170 celsius degrees, add in the veggie balls 

Don't rush with the frying process, let them gently fry on one side first without touching them, turn the heat down to medium low 

Give them gentle nudges until they easily move around, flip them over and continue frying until it is golden on all sides
